A design exploration into geometric surfaces, lightweight materials, and practical wall solutions.
Before AI could generate stunning renders in seconds, we had to model, texture, and visualize everything manually — and that’s exactly what I did for Volcano.
This project was my graduation thesis, focused on creating a modular wall panel system made of basalt fiber and epoxy resin. Inspired by volcanic geometry, the collection features three different shapes—Etna, Fuji, and Teide—each designed to be both decorative and functional.
From naming to branding, from digging into basalt to drawing production pipes. I designed every bit of this system the old-fashioned way: with obsessive care, zero AI, and way too many coffees.
Each element was crafted to balance sculpture and function, from the faceted geometry to the fire-resistant composite material. I handled everything from research to prototyping, packaging to branding, obsessively refining every detail.
